HAVANA, April 1 (José Antonio Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad www.cubanet.org)
- Someone broke into a dollar store in the area known as Altahabana during the
night of March 29.
Police arrived in the morning of March 30 to find the door of the
establishment ajar. There is no word at this time as to what was taken.
The official press usually carries no news about this type of crime, but
people increasingly talk about them. Private housing is often protected by
wrought iron grates, in spite of the cost involved.
