CAMAGÜEY, September 20 (Normando Hernández, CPIC / CubaNet) -
Two police officers arrested Amaury Blanco Díaz, 34, and fined him 1,500
pesos after they found five empty plastic bottles during a search of his home.
The officers, who identified themselves as 'Rondón' and 'Alejandro,'
searched Blanco's home in the town of Florida, Camagüey province, and found
the bottles. They took Blanco to the local police station, where they levied the
fine and released him.
Residents called the incident another instance of police abuse.
