CAMAGÜEY, September 7 (Normando Hernández, CPIC / CubaNet) - An
outbreak of viral meningitis has been detected in Vertientes, Camagüey
province.
Six children were sent by local doctors to the provincial pediatric hospital
last week, making a total of 11 children admitted to the provincial hospital for
that reason.
At least two of the affected children attend the Nubecitas Blancas child
care facility in Vertientes.
