The United Nations General Assembly has voted overwhelmingly for an end to
the United States trade embargo against Cuba.
The vote was 167 to three.
This is the 10th consecutive year that the assembly has voted against the
embargo, which was imposed 40 years ago.
Most speakers said the embargo was a violation of the UN charter and
affected international trade.
