The Argentine Government has ordered its ambassador in Cuba to leave the
island permanently after what it described as the renewed verbal aggressions of
the Cuban authorities.
Cuba had criticised those countries - including Argentina - which voted for
a resolution critical to Cuba at the United Nations Human Rights Commission last
month .
The Argentine Government had already temporarily recalled its ambassador
from Havana following remarks by the Cuban President Fidel Castro, who accused
Argentina of, as he put it, licking the Yankee boot.
