NANJING, February 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Panda Group, a major Chinese color TV producer, headquartered in this capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, will export its first batch of color TV sets to Cuba in June.

Li An, general manager of the group, said here Tuesday that a total of one million sets will be exported to Cuba.

According to an agreement signed by the Panda Group and the Cuba Electronic Group, the export value of the one million color TV sets and related production equipment totals 150 million U.S. dollars.

At the same time, Panda will set up a joint venture in Cuba to help the country promote industrial development in the sectors of household electronic appliances and telecommunications facilities. Enditem
