TOKYO Feb. 23 Kyodo - Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque will make a
four-day visit to Japan starting March 3 to discuss overall bilateral relations
with Japanese officials, Foreign Minister Yohei Kono said Friday.
During his stay, Perez is scheduled to hold talks with Kono, other cabinet
members and former Foreign Minister Hiroshi Mitsuzuka, who serves as chairman of
the Japanese parliamentary league for friendship with Cuba, Kono said.
Perez is also planning to meet Takeo Hiranuma, economy, trade and industry
minister, Ryutaro Hashimoto, state minister in charge of administrative reform,
and Parliamentary Foreign Secretary Yoshitaka Sakurada, according to the Foreign
Ministry.
