CIENFUEGOS, January 31 (Alina Gonzalo, Cuba-Verdad) Patients in need
of x-rays in Aguada de Pasajeros must travel 45 miles to the provincial capital
because the x-ray equipment in the municipal hospital "Alipio León"
has been out of order for months.
Even before the equipment finally broke down, the approximately 35,000
people in Aguada often had to make do without the service, since the
administration at the hospital authorized only five x-rays a day, said Osvaldo,
a local family doctor who only gave his first name.
