Gas Installers Selling Parts In Black Market

HAVANA, September 25 (Migdalia Rosado, Tamarindo 34 Derechos Humanos) - Residents of the Havana suburb of Santos Suárez are complaining of the shoddy workmanship by the gas installers in the neighborhood.

In Rodríguez and San Benigno streets, the houses at number 153, 252, and 156 put in work orders on February 27 and still don’t have service. The residents have complained to their delegate to the Popular Power and other organizations, but have not received any answer as of yet.

Meantime, the workers have picked up their equipment and left the neighborhood. There are some that say the installers were selling pipe, elbows and other fittings and parts in the black market.
