PINAR DEL RIO, September 13 (Víctor Rolando Arroyo, UPECI) - Graffiti sporadically shows up on walls in the town called Manuel Lazo in this province, calling for an end to Fidel Castros 41-year-old regime. The last time was on September 6 and the Department of State Security seems
powerless to stop it.
As a matter of fact, the favorite mural for the clandestine artists is the wall at police headquarters, according to Jorge Luis Rojas, of the Cuban Party for Human Rights, Affiliated to the Sakharov Foundation, where it is common to find anti-government graffiti.
No one has been charged by authorities yet.
