Arrested Dissident's Whereabouts Unknown

HAVANA, November 15 (Ricardo González Alfonso) – A religious rights activist was arrested Wednesday morning by an agent of the Department of State Security and taken to parts unknown.

Rafael Chang Gálvez, 43, the president of the Cuban National Committee of Humanitarian and Religious Aid to Prisons was picked up at his home by an agent who introduced himself as Tamayo, and taken away in a Russian-made Lada automobile. The officer told Chang's wife that she would eventually be told where he was and why he was being arrested.
