CIEGO DE ÁVILA, May 24 (Juan Carlos González Leyva, FAPDH) The Hotel Morón, a tourist facility in this central Cuban province, laid-off more than half its employees without compensation due to dwindling tourism in the area.
Management also closed the hotels restaurant, citing an occupancy rate of as low as 15 people a night.
Students of FormaTur, the governments hotel management school, who have been doing their internships at the hotel, complain of being mistreated by the hotels management.
