HAVANA, April 27 (Moraima Pires, Grupo Decoro) - The Board of Education in Bahía Honda, in western Cuba, expelled 14-year-old Eduardo Kessell Caballero from secondary school because his mother is a pacifist opponent of the Fidel Castro regime.
His mother, Lourdes Caballero, says that the Board considers her son's presence detrimental to the other students. The boy has been out of school for a year now.
Caballero says that she herself has been denied the right to work.
