Magazines Confiscated at Havana Airport

HAVANA, March 13 (Claudia Márquez Linares, Grupo de Trabajo Decoro) - Customs officers at Havana Airport confiscated several issues of the Mexican magazine "Profiles of the 21st Century" destined for the Liberal Democratic Cuban Party.

The magazines had been sent by Juan Pina, editor of the magazine, and were carried by a Chilean citizen who had offered to deliver them.

Customs officials classified the material as "subversive" and said it spread counterrevolutionary ideas that would not be allowed to circulate in Cuba.
