Cuban Embargo may not be over, but that isn't stopping 800-JR Cigar from selling "reservations" to buy such famous brands as Romeo y Julieta, Bolivar, Belinda and El Rey del Mundo and other Havanas if and when the embargo ends.
Since Cuban cigars have been illegal in the United States since the early 1960's, and since there has never been an overabundance of these prized cigars, it is a commonly accepted thought that the opening of the U.S. market after a lapse of almost 40 years will cause a world wide shortage of
Havanas best know trademarks.
In order to give JR's existing customers an opportunity to secure a supply of Havanas and avoid the hysteria that will ensue in the days following the lifting of the embargo, JR is now taking reservations on the first legal shipments. For $200 per box (limit 4 per person) JR customers can place
their name on a waiting list to receive their favorite Havanas. Customers will be notified of the arrival of the cigars and the selection available in the same order that their reservations were received.
