LAS TUNAS, February 29 (Bertha Mexidor Vázquez, Agencia de Prensa Libertad) - An audit at the "Luis Aldana Palomino" hospital in Las Tunas province, central Cuba, uncovered irregularities in the sum of 280,000 pesos in the hospital's accounts. The missing sum was traced to
supplies destined to the hospital which were sold in the black market instead.
A former patient said: "Now I understand why the shortage of medications, but they blamed the embargo."
