LAS TUNAS, January 24 (Pablo Gregorio Molina Nieves, Lux Info Press) - Alva Riverón Fuentes, 8, was expelled from the Young Pioneers detachment at the Elayo Pusior school, in the city of Las Tunas, in east central Cuba.

The girl was expelled for not participating in activities such as camping, keeping watches, explorers' centers and marches. The girl is the daughter of Héctor Riverón González, the vice-delegate of the Democratic Solidarity Party in the province.

The Riverón family lives at 118 Mario Oro Street, in the Buena Vista sector of the city.
