CAIBARIEN, VILLA CLARA, January 17 (Héctor Trujillo Pis) - Five Cubans sailed from this city on the north coast of central Cuba five days ago and haven't been seen since.

The five men set out at 5 p.m. on Wednesday January 12 in a rickety 17 foot boat propelled by sails and oars. According to Mayra Machado, mother of two of the men on board, none of them has any knowledge of navigation and they carried little food and water. She said they hoped to reach the United States.
