PORTSMOUTH, N.H. 28 (AP) A New Hampshire businessman is a good example of what the country has to gain by easing relations with Cuba.
Mike Campbell runs Nova Technology Corp. in Portsmouth, and was one of about 100 American businessmen who attended a pioneering health care trade conference in Havana last month. He came back with $40,000 worth of sales contracts.
His company, which sells medical technology, has to go through a lot of hoops to deal with Cuba. But trading with Cuba has gotten easier recently, especially in humanitarian sectors such as the health care industry. |
