MATANZAS, August 21 (Caridad Díaz Beltrán, Movimiento por la Democracia Pedro Luis Boitel) – A dollar store here was burgled a scant two blocks from the provincial headquarters of the Technical Department of Investigations of the National Police.

The burglars made off with what authorities described as considerable booty, although they haven't determined its exact value yet, in spite of a sophisticated alarm system and the watch established by the neighborhood Committees for the Defense of the Revolution. Police have not named any suspects so far.
