HAVANA, August 11 (Regina del Sol) Authorities discovered 25 cases of venereal disease among students and teachers in a junior high school in the countryside.
The "junior high school in the countryside" is a peculiar Cuban institution which consists of schools located in agricultural areas where children between the ages of 12 and 14 years of age live all week long, working in the fields for half a day and attending classes for the other
half.
The students in this case attend the "Alberto Fernández" school in Corralillo, in Villa Clara province, central Cuba.
