Sewers Overflow In Pinar del Río

PINAR DEL RÍO, June 8 (Bertha Peraza, APO) – Sewer waters have been running through some streets of this provincial capital for over a year and there is no solution in sight.

Residents of Planta Street, between A and E streets, and of Virtudes Street, complain that overflowing septic tanks have let the effluent run through their streets, with the attendant infestation of vermin and rats. They have complained to the authorities to no avail, they say.
