Dissidents with U.S. visas threatened with prison

HAVANA, March 16 (Roberto Santana Rodríguez / www.cubanet.org) - Three dissidents who have visas to go to the United States were arrested this week when they protested outside immigration headquarters the fact the Cuban government refuses to give them exit permits.

The three - Alfredo Suárez Leandro, Andrés Rosabal Alarcón and Adolfo Peraza Rico - have had U.S. visas since last year.

Suárez Leandro said that before being released he and his colleagues were told they could face prison sentences if they demonstrated again in from the immigration building. They were accompanied by their families.
