Officers threaten independent journalist

- Two officers of the Department of State
Security visited independent journalist
Ahmed Rodríguez and threatened to
send him to prison if he continues with
his journalistic activities.
The officers, who call themselves Fernández
and Yobany, just walked into Rodríguez'
home June 12 and, after banging on a table,
started yelling their threats.
Rodríguez, 21, is a reporter for
the news agency Youth without Censorship
and lives in Old Havana.
