Experts prepare Angola/Cuba

LUANDA, February 21 -- Experts of Angola
and Cuba are discussing since Monday here
issues of common interest in the domain
of bilateral co-operation, in the ambit
of the 12th session of the joint mission
between the two countries, Angop was informed.
The Angolan delegation is being led by
the director for bilateral commission of
the Foreign Affairs ministry, Florencio
de Almeida, whereas the Cuban team is headed
by the director for Africa of the Ministry
of Foreign Inversion and Economic Co-operation,
Rafael Jaminez.
Topping the agenda are themes linked to
the sectors of education, health, culture,
tourism, sports, assistance and social reinsertion,
industry, agriculture and others.
The experts will also put into perspective
new actions of co-operation in various domains,
as well as set up a date for the next session
of the joint commission.
Addressing the session, the Angolan official
expressed the willingness of both sides
of reinforcing the bilateral co-operation,
stressing that the joint commission will
serve to re-launch the co-operation in various
domains.
Tuesday will be inaugurated the 12th session
of the joint commission for economic and
scientific collaboration.
At ministerial level, the Angolan team
is being led by the minister of Education,
Antonio Burity da Silva, whereas the Cuban
side is headed by the minister of Foreign
Inversion and Economic Collaboration, Marta
