Tourists held up in broad daylight
HAVANA, Cuba - December 13 (José
Antonio Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad / www.cubanet.org)
- Two Spanish tourists were held up at three
in the afternoon last Tuesday in central
Havana.
The tourists, apparently husband and wife,
were trading currency in a government-operated
trading house in central Havana when two
youths jumped them and took the money.
Changing house employees were able to capture
one of the assailants and the other got
away on foot with the money.
