Authorities demolish stands of independent
sellers
CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, April 11 (Antonio
Femenías, Agencia Patria / www.cubanet.org)
- Municipal authorities last weekend destroyed
the stands used by independent sellers of
farm products.
The only products to be allowed are those
from cooperative farms which pay taxes to
the government.
However, the independent sellers will be
allowed to offer their products two Sundays
a month at a fairs organized by local authorities.
