Authorities close Ag free market in Sancti
Spíritus
SANTA CLARA, Cuba - June 17 (Karel Castillo,
Cubanacán Press / www.cubanet.org)
- The municipal Commerce Directorate in
Sancti Spíritus ordered the only
free market in Taguasco closed as of June
15, without offering any explanation for
their actions.
The market's administrator told customers
and suppliers that he had orders to close
the market in seven days. The Directorate,
he said, had told him the market won't reopen.
