Customers complain about inefficient financial service

HAVANA, Cuba, September 17 (Richard Roselló / www.cubanet.org) - Customers who use the Transcard service of government-owned Cimex Corporation complain about the inefficiency in the service.

"This is outrageous," said one young man, standing in a line of about a 100 customers who waited for one lone employee to handle their transactions at the company's Miramar office. "It's not possible that there be just one employee to take care of this many people.

Transcard, with about 200,000 customers across the island, was established 10 years ago to handle cash transfers and remittances from abroad.
