Investigation probes theft from government warehouse

HAVANA, Cuba, September 30 (Lázaro García / www.cubanet.org) - Several workers at a government warehouse in Havana have been extensively questioned and two are being held after the theft of 90 cases of shower curtains was discovered two weeks ago.

The warehouse holds stock for the government's hard currency stores.

Two watchmen are being held at the Acosta police station, and a number of employees, from the manager on down, have been questioned, some for up to 10 hours a session.
