Information Bridge Cuba Miami

(GUANTANAMO,CUBA/ April 29th/ Puenteinfocubamiami.org) – Dionisio Perez, a 25 years old common prisoner serving a 10 year sentence at Combinado de Guantanamo for armed robbery, suffers from a heart condition and for the past five months prison authorities have denied him the medical attention he needs. Perez also suffers from high blood pressure and the medication to regulate this condition is refused to him.

Doctors Araceli and Katrina, from the medical department at Combinado de Guantanamo, informed the prisoner that Major Pablo Reyes Cobas has ordered that no medical attention be given to him, branding him traitor to the homeland. He has been caught passing notes to relatives of political prisoners Randy Cabrera Mayhor and Juan Carlos Fonseca.

Reporting from Guantanamo, Ferdinando Castro de Lardiller, National Delegate of the Democratic Party November 30 "Frank País", COOCE Coordinator. For the Information Bridge Cuba Miami. Given on April 29th, 2002.
