Bicycle parts stolen at police station

CAMAGUEY, March 26 (Pablo Pacheco Avila, CPIC) - After having been absolved of responsibility for an accident in which his pregnant wife lost her life in July of last year, Félix Solano Rivero, 24, has not been able to recover his bicycle, which is still being held at the Ciego de Ávila police station.

Solano has been back repeatedly to claim his property, but officials have put him off with excuses. He is concerned because he says he saw the bicycle and several parts are missing. "A tire, the gears and the seat are missing," he said. On March 21 he went to the station again, and one of the police chiefs promised him he would have an answer for him on March 28.
