HAVANA (AleidaGodínez Soler, Lux InfoPress) – The prisoner Juan
Ramón Tamayo died last month in the provincial Carlos Manuel de Céspedes
Hospital after being brought there from prison a week earlier.
Juana Rosa Tamayo, the prisoner's sister, blamed the penal system for her
brother's death, saying he "was a victim of poor medical attention and poor
food in prison.".
Tamayo had asthma, high blood pressure and liver failure.
