Not All Children Under 7 Drink Milk

LAS TUNAS, June 21 (Bertha Mexidor, Agencia Libertad) – Children under the age of 7 residing in Amancio Rodríguez municipality, in this province, do not have available their one liter of milk a day as stipulated by law.

Instead they can buy one kilogram of powdered milk per month. Mothers complain that the allotment is not enough to satisfy their children’s needs. Dissidents in the area have asked the authorities to address the problem several times, but have never had an answer.
