HAVANA, June 9 (Graciela Alfonso) – A 3-year-old boy choked to death after inhaling a condom he was playing with.

Raciel Alcántara Pérez was using the condom as a balloon and was trying to inflate it when the mishap occured. Cuban children oftentimes substitute various items for toys they don’t have access to; palm fronds for horses, sticks for baseball bats, and condoms for balloons.
