CIEGO DE ÁVILA, July 27 (Juan Carlos González Leyva, FAPDH) – Lucía Castelúa Padrón, 40, died after prison authorities refused to transfer her to the hospital. She suffered from hepatitis.

Castelúa was serving a four-year sentence at the "Five Kilometer" prison in Camagüey province for counterfeiting documents at the Post Office where she used to work.

She is survived by two sons.
