State Stores Are A Nuisance To Their Neighbors

LAS TUNAS, July 26 (José Luis García Paneque, Agencia Libertad) – The "Bacaneg" state stores have become a nuisance to people living near them.

For one, they don't have bathrooms, so patrons relieve themselves on the sidewalks, yards and hallways of nearby buildings and homes. Then, the stores play loud music to the late hours of the night, further annoying neighbors. The stores sell alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and fast food.

The affected neighbors have repeatedly complained to the Ministry of Public Health and to the Ministry of the Interior, to no avail.
