ARTEMISA, HAVANA, July 24 (Rafael Peraza, APO) Residents of this city rose in protest July 3 at the local butcher shop because the ground meat they were being sold was putrid.
Inspectors who showed up as a result of the protest ordered a recall of the meat that had been sold up to that time. Incredibly, many patrons had bought their allotment in spite of the smell.
Something similar is happening to the daily ration of bread.
