SANTIAGO DE CUBA, July 10 (Luis Alberto Rivera, APLO) Juan Manuel Garzón Kindelán, 40, was given an eviction order for himself, his wife and three children, on June 5.
Garzón and his family have lived in the same house for years. The house belonged to his father, who died five years ago.
The eviction order was signed by the director of the local housing department, Alcibíades Fuentes Grenot.
Garzón says he cant understand why he is being evicted. "They havent taken into account that there are three children involved whom the Revolution claims to protect." Cuban government propaganda boasts that "No Cuban child lacks a roof over his head."
