CIEGO DE AVILA, July 5 (Pedro Duque Nistal, FAPDH) – A foreign tourist died when the seaplane in which he was traveling crashed on approach to the airport in Cayo Coco, off the north coast of central Cuba.

The plane, belonging to the Cubanacán Corporation, crashed between the Trip hotel and a border guard station. The pilot was taken to the hospital in Morón in critical condition. There were only two people on board. The causes of the accident are not known.
