CIEGO DE AVILA, July 4 (Juan Carlos González Leyva, FAPDH) – The recent murder of two children in the city of Camagüey has provoked alarm in the population.

One of the children, a 7-year-old, was found floating in "La Pica" lagoon after having been raped. The other one lived in the Monte Carlos district. The crimes were reported by the local press, and the schools were given orders not to release children to anyone but parents or close relatives.

Police and the Technical Department of Investigations have not arrested anyone.
