Police Tighten Controls

CIEGO DE AVILA, July 4 (Jesús Alvarez Castillo, FAPDH) – Police have been stopping people on the streets of Morón and asking them to produce identity cards in an effort to stamp out prostitution and vagrancy.

Residents, however, complain that the local government would do better directing its efforts to creating more jobs. In fact, there is relatively high unemployment in the area.
