CIENFUEGOS, December 8 (Alina Gonzalo, Cuba-Verdad) – A child broke an arm and a leg when the slide he was playing on collapsed as a result of neglect and poor maintenance in the Aguada de Pasajeros park.

Lisbel Abreus Corrales fell from a height of about 10 feet when the slide he was playing on collapsed. He was taken to the provincial pediatric hospital, where he underwent surgery.

"These accidents happen all the time due to the neglect by local authorities of proper maintenance of parks and other facilities," said one local resident who would not be identified.
