Police Won't Look For 12-Year-Old, Missing For Four Months

LAS TUNAS, April 3 (Bertha Mexidor, Agencia Libertad) - Isidro Quiñones Pérez, 12, has been missing for four months and the police won't take an interest in the case, says Aida Pérez, his grandmother.

The child, a fifth grade student at the "Enrique José Varona" primary school has been raised by his father and his grandmother. His mother died when he was born. Both father and grandmother spoke to officer Andrés Pérez of the Municipal Unit of the National Police, who told them: "You look for him, and when you find him hand him over so we can place him in a correctional school."
