Transportation worsens in Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, September 25 (Alain Ramón Gómez Ramos, Cubanacán Press / www.cubanet.org) - Hundreds of would-be passengers waiting for the few available buses and horse-drawn carriages filling in attest to the worsening crisis in transportation in Santa Clara.

Even with the reduced number of bus routes still running, service at peak hours is deficient. The horse-drawn carriages are severely limited by government regulations.
