Dissident's home the target of several attacks

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, September 21 (Niurvys Díaz Remond, Cubanacán Press / www.cubanet.org) - The home of dissident pacifist Julio César Montes Nerey has been the target of four recent attacks.

The latest occurred September 18 when a projectile penetrated the house in the Subplanta district.

"This is another aggression by the so-called angry people which shows the hatred and intolerance toward those who peacefully fight for democratic changes on the island," said Montes Nerey, deputy coordinator of the Christian Democratic Movement in Cuba.

Previous resulted in damage to the roof of Montes' home.
