Woman, 65, prevented from attending Ladies in White activity

HAVANA, October 7 (Leonel Alberto Pérez Belette / www.cubanet.org) - A paramilitary group congregated in front of the home of Eduarda Caridad Morales Lazaga last Sunday and prevented her from attending activities of the Ladies in White.

Morales Lazaga, 65, is a regional delegate of the Liberal Cuban Movement for the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo.

Pedro Ordóñez, a director of the movement, said that Morales Lazaga always attended Sunday activities of the Ladies in White, wives and mothers of imprisoned dissidents.
