A member of FLAMUR is threatened

PINAR DEL RIO, Cuba, November 9 (Rafael Ferro Salas, Abdala Press / www.cubanet.org) - Dayami Piñera Cruz, a member of the Latin American Federation of Rural Women (FLAMUR), says she was threatened by two policemen who came to her home in the village of La Coloma, 15 miles from Pinar del Rio.

"The two officials who showed up at my home told me this was the last time that they'd warn me to stop my activities in FLAMUR," she said. "They said they would take everything I have in my home workshop."
