Two men detained for illegally selling milk
SANTA CLARA, Cuba - July 7 (Guillermo

www.cubanet.org) - Two men from the countryside,
one aged 70 and the other 71, were detained
by members of the National Revolutionary
Police last week for illegally selling milk.
Jesús Eloy Alberto Gutierrez, delegate
of the dissident Democracy Movement in Santa
Clara, said officers in a police cruiser
stopped the pair, gave them body searches
and confiscated plastic containers full
of milk.
When the two men were placed in a cruiser,
bystanders protested.
