Truck service paralyzed between Camagüey
and Ciego de Ávila
CIEGO DE ÁVILA,
Cuba, December 14 (Abel Escobar Ramírez
/ www.cubanet.org) - The new requirement
to show a receipt for gasoline purchases
has halted truck traffic between Ciego de
Ávila and Camagüey last weekend.
As part of its campaign to cut down on
corruption, the government now provides
receipts for gasoline purchases at service
stations and requires all motorists to shown
them when requested.
